Valencia Basket opens a series of three away-games in a row on the court of Surne Bilbao Basket

Valencia Basket opens a series of three away-games in a row in the Endesa League visiting the court of the Surne Bilbao Basket (Saturday 9, 20: 45h, Bilbao Arena, Movistar Deportes 1) in which will try to keep adding to maintain the position in the Top-4 reached last week.

 

The taronja squad will put into play its good run of results in the acb, in which it has chained five wins in a row and a run of eleven wins in the last thirteen games on one of the most complicated courts in the competition.

 

For this the taronja squad will have to deal with the absence for this game of power forward Louis Labeyrie, who joins the three already known sidelined players (Sam Van Rossom, Neno Dimitrijevic and Klemen Prepelic). Although Valencia Basket could register his most recent acquisition, Canadian shooting guard Olivier Hanlan, if the transfer gets in time to register him in the Endesa League.

 

In a game in which Josep Puerto will become a centenarian with the taronja jersey, Valencia Basket will seek to repeat victory in Bilbao for the first time since they achieved it in 2013 and 2014, since last season Valencia Basket won by 73-106.

 

In the first leg game, Joan Peñarroya's men came from behind in the last quarter to finish adding the victory by 100-84. The Taronja team currently occupies fourth position in the Endesa League with a balance of 18-8.
